Thanks for visiting my website. Here is the place to find an overview of my business activities. I have my own personal blog “having it all” which is my guide to getting as much as you possibly can out of life. You’re only here once (as far as I am aware) and each day is like a B&Q bargain, once its gone – it’s gone!

So a bit about the business side of me. I know I’ve always wanted money and always wanted success. I started at 12 with 5 paper rounds and hold the record in Christmas tips for my round – a whopping £94 which bought me a pair of Reebok pump trainers. I then expanded into babysitting, left school at 16 with a whole host of GCSE’s which I don’t think have served me at all. The RSA typing and work processing qualifications, however, did and I landed a spot on a GEC youth training scheme in business administration which led me to working as a junior in a PR agency and ending up today I am running three businesses and a partnership.

Along the way, I have worked at a local newspaper, an advertising agency, a five franchise car dealership, the National Grid Company, a national prestige housebuilder and a safety consultancy. Positions included secretary, receptionist, gopher, Director’s secretary, Quality Assurance Co-Ordinator, Customer Service Advisor, Service Assistance, Assistant Regional Safety Officer and Regional Safety Manager.

I predominantly work for my own Health and Safety Consultancy, Infinite Safety Ltd. I work with all sizes of companies from sole traders protecting themselves from third party personal injury claims to large national multi-site companies protecting the health, safety and welfare of their employees. A large part of my work is to help companies use health and safety to win more business. If you can demonstrate that you are a low risk to companies, you are much more attractive than your competitors. The last thing a sub-contracting company needs is to be accused of poor control of contractors. If your policies, procedures and most importantly actions can demonstrate you are competent to fill the role you are appointed to, you are more likely to be added to approved sub-contractor lists.

In addition to providing policies and procedures, I offer practical on site support, an advice line, an online Q&A service, online training and a competent person service to ensure companies meet the legal duties placed upon them by Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

I love dishing out advice and have created Business2Mentor, an online facility to teach you how to get the most out of your business. Monthly teleseminars are held with leading experts in the fields of PR, Marketing, Employment Law, SEO, Website Design, Business Coaching and, of course, Health and Safety.

I also keep my assistant in work via Secretary 999 – emergency administration and secretarial assistance, as and when you realise your admin can be done for you, freeing up your time to grow your business.

The aspect of my work I enjoy the most is writing. I keep several clients blogs up to date and help those who do not have the time or inclination to write compelling articles. As this is a driving force in winning new business, it has become a growing market for me and I have expanded into writing courses, e-courses and e-books. If you have a website, you are not making best use of it if it is not selling something. Can you sell your knowledge? I can help you write it, package it and promote it to bring you a passive income.

My pastime business is organising Secret Suppers in the Lancashire region. Offering a three course meal, drinks and entertainment at themed events. No two events are the same and offer guests the opportunity to sample the best of the regions chefs and produce. Events are launched and clues are given at http://www.Sircassidys.com/
